NOTES:

The New York Yankees Bleacher ticket stubs go through major changes in design and price from 1940 through 1949. The Tax is doubled to .10 cents and the ticket price of .55 cents is increased to .60 cents in 1944. The addition of the newly created Yankees logo watermark is first used in 1946 and then refined in 1947. From 1940-1943 the tickets can be attributed to a specific year by using the Series Letter below the serial number.

The 1940 - 1947 ticket stub header above the "Rain Check" design at the top of the ticket that reads "American League Baseball Club of New York" is changed to "New York Yankees, Inc. Yankee Stadium" in 1948, a line separates the "Rain Check" design from the game number, and "series" (letter) is added above the serial number. The signature of the Yankees team President that appeared at the bottom of the stub is replaced with "NEW YORK YANKEES INC." in 1948. The team President's signature now appears below the perforation of the stub.
