My Favorite Hits Mickey Mantle 1958 RCA Record

This is a 1958 RCA released record of Mickey Mantle's Favorite Songs. "MY FAVORITE HITS" On the back of the record Mickey Mantle states that next to sports, he has been more interested in pop music than anything else. Although I have never seen this record in any condition sell for more than $150. It has recently sold for $520. on eBay.

"It’s a beautiful day in the Bronx as a huge crowd takes in the June 30, 1960 matinee, between the Bronx Bombers and the Kansas City A's. The Bombers would live up their name this day as they would belt five round trippers while cruising to a 10-3 victory. Watching the action intently from the on-deck circle, in his first season in New York is Roger Maris. One inning earlier, he belted his 25th dinger of the season. Now it was the Mick’s turn to go deep, as he rockets this pitch from Bob Trowbridge into the right field seats. It was the Commerce Comet's 18th round tripper.
