NOTES:

...Buy me some Peanuts and Cracker Jacks...   Yes, .25 cents for Cracker Jacks and, .45 cents for a hot Dog! Those were the days my friend ( singing again) Cracker Jacks are $8.00 at the Stadium now. These were the paper hats worn by Yankee Stadium vendors back in the 1960's trough to 1973, before the Stadium was renovated. The 5 1/2" x 11" paper brim hats, topped with yellow mesh were made by the Paperlynen Co.

The paper brim on this Vendors hat reads: "POPCORN, PEANUTS, CRACKER JACKS" flanked by the .25 cents price and the Yankees Logo. The Popcorn, Peanuts & Cracker Jacks vendors hat shown below, with the tax added for a total price of .27 cents is most likely from 1970 or after, as the price for Cracker Jacks in 1969 was .25 cents as listed in the 1969 Yankees scorecard (see below) You could also buy a pack of cigarettes at the ballpark for .55 cents. Very different times.

The "BALL PARK FRANKS" vendors hat that also shows the tax added for a total price of .45 cents is most likely from 1970 as well. The price for a hot dog was raised to .50  cents at some point, and some hats, that were in stock, has the new price (.47 cents, TAX .03, TOTAL .50c) placed over the old price.

The inner side of the patented "Pull Out To Your Head Size" adjustable brim, reads PAPERLYNEN, PO BOX 1498, COLUMBUS, OHIO, MADE IN U.S.A., U.S. PAT. NO. 1,935,096. The Paperlynen made by logo on the .25 cents hat features a 1970 date at the top. The .27 cents hat has a 1972 date.
