NOTES:
 
    "Pace-Setter" was a line of sporting goods introduced in 1959 by A.G. Spalding & Bros., Inc., Toy Tinkers division, of Evanston, Illinois. A.G. Spalding & Bros. bought the Tinkertoy brand in 1952. Pace Setter by Spalding offered a line of sporting goods which included; Golf, tennis, football, and basketball equipment, along with baseballs, softballs, baseball gloves, and baseball bats. All "Imprinted with Famous Players names."

 The 1960, Spalding 323 Bill Dickey Pace Setter hinged model, youth size catchers mitt, was "priced to fit all budgets." For $8.00., the mitt featured oil palm, Tan leather. Reinforcing edge band at heel. Three finger pockets. Flat imitation leather binding leather laced. Two-way adjustable shearing lined wrist strap. Little finger loop. Crotch laced, Leather Whipping on top loops of crotch laces. Leather arrestor in web laces (resembles a slingshot).
