NOTES:

Licensed by Major League Baseball to produced a new line of baseball bobbleheads, Sports Accessories Memorabilia, S.A.M. Inc. introduced these 8 1/2 inch Bobbing Head Dolls. The first bobbing heads were produced in 1992, and different players were issued in increments throughout each year thereafter. The inaugural line-up released in 1992 featured Nolan Ryan, Ken Griffey Jr., Tom Seaver, and Babe Ruth. The limited edition, hand painted Bobble Heads came with a C.O.A. and most were Limited to production runs of 3,000. In the years to come the numbers for some bobbers increase to 5,000, and 10,000 made. Unlike the original Bobbin' Heads from the 1960s that were made of paper mache, the Sam's were made of Porcelain.

Later in 1992 S.A.M. produced bobbing head dolls that included Mickey Mantle, Pete Rose, Roberto Clemente, Hank Aaron, Willie Mays, Satchel Paige in a Kansas City Monarchs uniform, Reggie and Martinez Jackson. Martinez Jackson, father of Reggie played for the Newark Eagles. The company donated $1.00 to the Negro Leagues Baseball Players Association for each sale of the Jackson's, Mays, and Paige nodders In 1993.

In June of 1993, Sports Accessories & Memorabilia announced, collectors that purchased the Reggie Jackson Bobbers would receive a special decal to affix to the base of the figurine. The decal commemorated Jacksons Hall of Fame induction and was made available through Dec. 31. Throughout the 1990's Sports Accessories & Memorabilia issued a number of players with home & away jersey versions, special autographed editions, and a 500 Home Run Club series. The company went out of business in 2000.
