vintage pennant featuring a A cardinal baseball flying
out of the New Bush Memorial Stadium, St. Louis Cardinals,
white on red was sold at the newly built Bush Memorial
Stadium. Bush Stadium pennants like this one can be
dated between 1966-1969. Bush Stadium being built in
1966, and pennants made 1n 1970 to the present will
feature the MLB logo. This pennant reading the New
Bush Stadium should date it to the first year.
Vintage pennants are difficult to date to a specific
season. Many pennants were for sale at the ballparks for
several years in a row. Team logo's and artwork could
help in dating. Often team will use the same artwork on
other souvenirs like programs, and yearbooks making it
possible to date to a specific year.

is important on putting a value on a pennant. Common
