This
is a Mickey Mantle Yoo-hoo advertising Match book from the
early 1960s. Mickey Mantle also did
adverting for Yoo-hoo, but Yogi Berra was the Main Spokesman.
In fact it was Yogi who recruited Mickey Mantle to help
endorse the drink in advertising, promotions. "The
inside" of the Match book has an offer for a book
called "The Story of Yogi Berra" The Yoo-Hoo
Advertising had a lot of yellow color, and the yellow,
when exposed to a lot of Light, especially sun light, normally
fades away over the years. This match book still has
most of its original color. This Match book had the
Staple, and matches removed, flattened out for display.
This Item would be more valuable with the matches still
intact, but because of its condition its still a nice
collectible.
