This
bat is from one of the most Favorite of Yankee Stadium's Give
away, Bat Day. This Roy White, Bat Day Bat, was made by
the Hillerich &
Bradsby co. of Louisville, KY. This bat I believe to
be from 1970/71. One way of telling the year the bat was
from, is by the printing "New York Yankees"
this one is in script. a Bat from 1968 will have Yankees
written in "Print" The Bat when it was new had a solid yellow finish. Most
bats from that era have most of the Yellow finish
missing, with the wood grain showing through, or bare
wood. This one is as close as it gets to the original
