Notes:

The 1954 Red Man Baseball Card set consist of 54 cards. Unlike the previous two years the managers were removed from the set. This set features 51 top players from each league, and 3 AL players were updated with new teams. Two cards were issued with #19 for the NL. The cards measure 3 1/2" X 3 1/2" (3 1/2 x 4" with tab) The attached Tab reads “1954 RED MAN ALL-STAR SERIES” Cards with the tab still attached at the bottom will have a higher collectors value. These tabs were redeemable for prizes from Red Man Tobacco. 50 tabs for one free Big League style baseball cap. The front of the card features a color painted player portrait or pose with a short bio inside a boxed in area, and unlike the 1952 set the number of the card appears in this box as well. The back of the card features Red Man advertising in dark green print.
