is a Mike Schmidt Glo-Brite Orange Franklin Baseball
no. 1530. The 3. 7/8" x 6.3/8" package
features a picture of the National league MVP Mike
Schmidt along side his facsimile autograph. This
Franklin made Orange baseball was a take off of the
Charles O. Finley baseball introduced in the early
1970s.(pictured below right) Glow-Brite orange Syntex
cover baseball made for better visibility. A Charley
Finley concept that was never approved by Major League
Baseball. This cork & rubber core baseball is
Official size, and weight The Taiwan made baseball cost
$2.49 when it was sold in the early 1980s.
