NOTES:

This is a Vintage Mickey Mantle Official Zoom Ball. The Zoom Ball was a great coordination developer for kids and softball players back in the 1950s to help teach throwing and catching. Attached to a rubber cord, the ball would be thrown and come right back to you, very quickly. Apparently, it was taken off the market because too many kids got black eyes. Features include a Mickey Mantle facsimile signature sponge ball, rubber cord which "fits any ball glove!" Directions on back read: To use with glove simply hook safety clip to lace of glove. Without glove Hook around wrist or hand - to catch ball right, throw overhand to field ground and throw ball low. For extra Zoom pull glove hand back after ball is thrown. The front and back of the package also features a picture of Mickey Mantle , and Facsimile autograph. Original Price $1.00
